The Water Awareness Poster Contest wouldn’t be the same without the generosity of local community partners. By partnering with Pasco County Utilities and the FGUA, local community and educational oriented businesses add value to our program. While the program is fully funded through the collaborative efforts of Pasco County Utilities and the FGUA, there is always a need to add value to our outreach.
One of the primary ways that our program benefits from our relationships with the community is through giveaways that we’re able to provide to teachers and students for their success and participation. The unique thing about our sponsorship opportunities is that they add value to the program, while also creating awareness about the sponsoring organization.
One of the best things about sponsoring is our reach. Our program has seen participation levels of over 2,000 students and has had participation from almost half of all public elementary schools in Pasco County. This makes for a great opportunity for local businesses to get the word out about their organization, while creating good will through the program.
Previous years’ sponsors and contributors include: Chick-Fil-A of Trinity, Publix, Clearwater Marine Aquarium, Florida Aquarium, MOSI, Lowry Park Zoo, Big Cat Rescue, Republic Services, Monster Mini Golf, Whitney Printing, Office Depot, Tampa Bay Water, Regal Cinemas, Crispers, Keep Pasco Beautiful, and more.
