This year, over 1,100 students from 14 elementary schools, and 42 teachers participated in the program. This year’s theme was “Mission Possible: Water for Tomorrow,” covering the water cycle, solution to pollution, public health and safety, and the importance of conservation by becoming a Water Agent. Students used their creativity to demonstrate the theme and topics with their drawn images.
Poster Contest team members are visiting schools and presenting winning students with trophies and prizes donated by community sponsors. Pasco County Utilities and FGUA appreciate its sponsors and their support for water conservation and awareness initiatives in Pasco County.
The winning posters will be posted on the program website, as well as the East and West Pasco County government centers this summer.
